Once upon a time, Maleficent stole the Hashers’ most precious treasure: beer! Will they find it again?
The hares (the haaares!) are taking the hashers to a dark and mysterious place, were only a co(ck)llective effort will allow them to complete the trail and get to safety, where the far-reaching thorns will not pierce them in forgotten and sacrosanct spots of their bodies (though, somebody will probably like it..) and where the rocks would not be used for similar nefarious purposes.
Once again, the hares will lead the hashers to the realm of Fangshan, where fantasies become tangible and one could get defecated on by Maleficent’s mean raven or could accidentally slip on faeces covered rocks..
Past thorns and rocks, if the hashers manage to elevate themselves to the top of the mountain, a glor – ehm, glorious arch (hole?) will be waiting for them, framing the pictures of the ones who defeated this hellish trail. All the hashers should definitely be wearing LONG PANTS unless there is someone who is into thorns (no judgement here, we accept all kinds of perversions!), so, your choice! The running trail, led by Messied Up and Eghhh, will be about 8 km long with an elevation of around 500 m. The walking trail, with Manzo and Pickle Boy at the helm, about 5 kilometers.

The Beijing boxer hash is an off-road running hash going out to the hills around Beijing once/twice a month. We usually aim for the second/third Saturday of each month, but may vary depending on the hares’ availability and other variable factors we have zero control over. Be prepared for variable weather conditions: snow, ice, heatwave, storms.
We’re a running hash. It’s ok to walk but not to lallygag. Keep moving… Heart attacks are not permitted. As we are out on mountain trails, it’s easy to get lost. Please bring a phone with you! We may or may not send a search party looking for you. If we do, chances are it will consist primarily of rabid dogs and hungry wolves. That being said, we are glad to have you join us and hope you enjoy a great day! (by the way, no you won’t be back for your important dinner date bring them along instead)
